The primary labour union organization of the Institute of Technical Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the State Space Agency of Ukraine and the Dnipro Regional Organization of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine operates in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Professional Unions, Their Rights and Guarantees of Activity” and is composed of 16 professional groups.
Labour Union Committee:
Oleksandr S. Paliy – the chairman of the labour union committee;
Nataliia V. Petrushenko – deputy of the labour union committee;
Liudmyla V. Reznychenko – sector of solving domestic issues;
Hanna H. Kudrytska – cultural and mass sector;
Valentyna M. Mala – labor protection sector.
According to the collective agreement, the administration recognizes the labour union committee as the only authorized body representing the interests of the labour team. The labour union committee carefully monitors the undisputed implementation of the clauses of the Collective Agreement in the field of labour protection, payment of wages, amounts of additional payments, bonuses, material assistance. Once a year, the labour union member has the right to receive financial assistance in the amount of one month’s salary from the labour union fund. New Year’s gifts are purchased for children and grandchildren of employees. In case of a serious illness or death of a family member, labour union members are provided financial assistance from the funds of the labour union budget.
