The department of metrological support and standardization is an independent structural unit of the ITM of NASU and SSAU, which belongs to the main research departments of the institute, subordinated directly to the director of the institute. This is a general subdivision.
The main directions of the department’s activities are the organization and execution of works in the conduct of scientific research, research and development, research and technological and production works (ScR&DW) in the part of ensuring the unity of measurements and compliance of scientific and technical products (STP) with the requirements of regulatory documents (RD).
According to the main activity, the work of the department is coordinated by the vice director of the institute engaged in scientific work.
The main tasks of the department are scientific and methodical guidance and performance of work to ensure the unity of measurements and metrological support during ScR&DW, as well as compliance of the STP with the requirements of the RD during ScR&DW.
Also, the department carries out the development of RD in the directions of the department’s work and organizational and methodical management of the development of RD in other directions.
The department provides technical support for the institute’s computer systems and other office equipment.
The department of metrological support and standardization performs the administration of the institute’s local networks.
