Chief accountant – Larysa H. Lyashenko
Accounting department, in the person of the chief accountant, reports directly to the director of the institute and the institute managing director, and for matters of accounting and reporting, the procedure and methods of control – the chief accountant of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Accounting department is a structural division of the institute.
The main areas of activity of the accounting department are the accounting of the economic and financial activities of the institute, reporting and monitoring for the economical use of material, labor and financial resources in accordance with the approved estimates, preservation of the institute property.
According to the main activity, the work of the department is coordinated by the institute managing director. The chief accountant of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine carries out the organizational and methodical management of the work of the accounting department in matters of accounting and reporting, the procedure and methods of control.
The objects of accounting management are:
- warehouses of the institute – in the field of functional management of the organization of accounting in the warehouse;
- all departments and services of the institute – in the field of functional management of the activities of heads of departments and financially responsible persons of subdivisions in the part of control over spending of state funds as intended.
The accounting department carries out its activities on the basis of the Institute’s Statute and valid regulations. The deadlines for the work performance are established by instructions and decisions of higher-level organizations (Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and SSAU)
Accounting in its activities is guided by regulatory and methodological materials on accounting and tax reporting in organizations financed from the budget, the Law of Ukraine on the State Budget, the Budget Code, resolutions, orders, orders and other governing materials of higher-level bodies, orders of the director of the institute, as well as the current provision.
The activities of the accounting department are aimed at the implementation of the economy regime, control over the spending of state funds according to the intended purpose.
