The monograph explores mathematical models and algorithmic support for numerical simulation by operational marching methods of flows of gas and gas-dispersed chemically reacting non-equilibrium mixtures. The study results of supersonic flows around launch vehicles, flows in air intake devices and processes in the combustion chamber of direct-flow air-jet engines, features of the influence of afterburning and droplet supply of water on the parameters of the combustion products jet of a rocket engine are described. Calculation justification of various technological process parameters is given: combustion of dry and moisture-saturated coal particles, acceleration processes, heating of particles in gas flame coating devices, heating and cooling of steel rolls in a hood furnace. The effectiveness of the proposed methods and software is confirmed by their practical use for the development of new technical objects for various purposes.
For researchers, engineers and technicians – specialists in various technologies in energy, metallurgy, chemical production, aviation and rocket-space engineering, as well as for graduate students and students of universities of relevant specialties.
